Privacy Policy

CompCurve Inc. ("CompCurve", "we", "us") operates compcurve.com and related sites to describe our data products and services and to receive inquiries. This policy explains what we collect from visitors to this site, how we use it, and your choices. It does not describe the datasets we license to clients; those are governed by the agreements under which they are sold.

What we collect

Information you send us. When you submit an inquiry we collect the name, email, company, phone and message you provide, plus the page you were on. We use it to respond to your request and for no other purpose. We do not sell or add inquiry data to any marketing list or dataset.

Technical information. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records IP addresses and request metadata for security and performance, and provides us a cookieless page-view count. We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization to understand which pages are useful.

Advertising and measurement tools. This site loads the Meta pixel, so we can measure advertising, and two visitor-identification services, RB2B and Talk Data to Me, described in the next section. None of them load until after the page has finished rendering, and none load at all if you have opted out.

Cookies. CompCurve sets no cookies of its own. The tools above set their own cookies once they load, including Google Analytics, Meta and the identification services. Opting out below stops them being set.

Anonymous visitor identity resolution

We use third-party identity resolution to recognise anonymous business traffic and associate a visit with a verified identity. The technology collects only non-personal metadata: cookie identifiers, device characteristics, IP address and encoded query-string values. It does not collect your name, email address or phone number from this site in plain text.

That metadata is matched against a reference database to produce a hashed identifier, which is resolved against an identity graph. We use the result to understand which companies are evaluating us, to measure attribution and to follow up on genuine interest. We rely on our legitimate interest in operating and improving the business, and we do not use it to build a profile of your browsing anywhere else.

You can stop all of it. Use the control below, send us an email, or turn on Global Privacy Control in your browser, which this site honours automatically without you having to ask.

How we use and share it

Inquiry data is used to reply to you and is stored in our email and automation tools (Make.com and Google Workspace). We share it only with service providers that process it on our behalf, and with no one else unless required by law.

Your rights

You may ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you as a visitor by emailing support@compcurve.com. Residents of California, the EU, the UK and other jurisdictions with privacy laws have the rights those laws provide, and we honor them. That includes the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, which the control above exercises for this site, and which you can also invoke by email.

Data products

Our datasets are assembled from public record, licensed compilers, carrier data and public professional information under agreements that permit their sale for the uses described on this site. If you believe a record about you in one of our datasets is inaccurate or you wish to opt out of marketing uses, email support@compcurve.com with enough detail to locate the record and we will act on it.
