Underwriting needs to know how old the roof is, whether the electrical was ever updated, how close the wildfire and flood lines are, and whether the house has been sitting vacant. We assemble that from assessor characteristics, 330 million building permits, FEMA and hazard models and our vacancy signals into one property-level risk record.
Pairs naturally with our insurance x-date feed for acquisition and with mortgage data for lender-placed programs.

How it is built
Permit classification identifies roof, electrical, plumbing, HVAC and solar work per parcel. Hazard layers are joined spatially. Everything is keyed to the parcel so it can be appended to a book of business.
