Updated September 2026 from the Texas Real Estate Commission
Texas real estate agent list
Every licensed real estate agent and broker in Texas, ~175k people, taken from the Texas Real Estate Commission register each month and matched to an email address for ~85% of them and a mobile number for ~80%.
The short answer
The Texas Real Estate Commission publishes its license register, and anyone can search it one name at a time. What it does not publish is an email or a mobile number. CompCurve copies the whole register every month, normalizes status and license type, and matches each licensee to contact data, so you can buy Texas agents as one file instead of a search box.
As of September 2026 the Texas file holds ~175k licensees: ~140k sales agents and ~33k brokers. ~70% carry a brokerage of record. The sample is free and comes with a one-page Texas overview.
What each record carries
- Licensee name, license number, license type (sales agent or broker) and status
- Original license date and expiration date, so you can cut by tenure or renewal window
- Sponsoring brokerage or office of record and its address
- Matched email address, work or personal
- Matched mobile number with carrier line type, and a do-not-call flag on request

Cuts buyers ask for
Most buyers want a slice of the state rather than all of it. These are the common ones, counted on the September 2026 file and rounded.
| Cut | TX licensees | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| New licensees, last twelve months (more) | ~10k | Onboarding, training, lenders and title reps courting new agents |
| Brokers only | ~33k | Brokerage recruiting, franchise sales, office software |
| Licensed since before 2010 | ~53k | Seasoned producers for referral networks and recruiting |
| Licensed five to nine years | ~42k | Mid-career agents most likely to switch brokerages |
| License expiring in the next 90 days | ~18k | Continuing-education and renewal offers |
| Changed brokerage last month (more) | ~1.8k | Recruiters and vendors who sell into a fresh office move |
Any cut can be narrowed by county, city, ZIP or brokerage. New licensees match to a mobile less often (~25%) than the file as a whole, because people new to the industry have little contact history yet; email reaches ~30% of them.

Questions
How many real estate agents are in Texas?
About 175k people hold an active Texas real estate license as of September 2026: about 140k sales agents and 33k brokers, counted on the Texas Real Estate Commission register. Not every licensee is a Realtor; Realtor is a trade-association membership, and the license count is the larger number.
Where can I get a list of Texas real estate agents with email addresses?
The Texas Real Estate Commission publishes names, license numbers and sponsoring brokers, but no email or mobile. CompCurve takes that register every month and matches a contact email to ~85% of licensees and a mobile to ~80%. Request the free sample to see the real rows.
How is this different from the Texas Real Estate Commission license search?
The Texas Real Estate Commission search answers one name at a time and stops at the license. This is the whole register as one file, refreshed monthly, with statuses normalized, tenure and expiration dates kept, and contact data matched. To check a single license for free, use the Texas license lookup.
Can I email and call the agents on the list?
Email outreach to business contacts is allowed in the US under CAN-SPAM if you identify yourself, include a physical address and honor unsubscribes. Calls and texts to mobile numbers carry TCPA consent rules and the federal Do Not Call registry, so we scrub against DNC and flag known litigators on request. This is general information, not legal advice.
How fresh is the file?
It is rebuilt every month from the Texas Real Estate Commission. Each release picks up new licensees, expirations, status changes and brokerage moves, and a monthly feed delivers only what changed if you already hold the full file.
Can I buy only part of the state?
Yes. Most orders are a cut: new licensees, brokers only, one metro or county, a tenure band, or agents at named brokerages. The table above shows the common cuts and their sizes.
How is it priced and delivered?
Priced per snapshot or as a monthly feed, sized to the cut, with no seats or platform fee. Files come as CSV, Excel or JSON by download, S3 or SFTP, or through the license API. The sample is free and there is no obligation.
